Marco Stanke and Alf Lechner in Ingolstadt – Bavaria

In the exhibition “Teil’s teil’s” in the Alf Lechner Museum in Ingolstadt, Marco Stanke’s works, which range between painting, sculpture and installation, meet the owner’s enormous steel exhibits. A surprisingly convincing encounter.

Classic generic names are not enough. The works behind the large glass facade signal this even before you enter the Alf Lechner Museum in Ingolstadt. Marco Stanke’s art moves between painting, sculpture and installation, often using the formal language of concrete art. But at this moment it is not yet clear how his colorful works will fit in with the landlord’s enormous exhibits. But after a few minutes in the exhibition you notice how well the dialogue between the two works.
