It was a file that seemed well advanced, to the point where meetings had already taken place between the management of OM and the principal concerned to work on the coming season. TyC Sports revealed that Marcelo Gallardo finally said no to the Marseille team.
As the Argentinian media indicates, the former River Plate coach, still without a club, declined the Marseille proposal after several days of reflection. He thanked Pablo Longoria for his interest but said no as he felt he was not 100% to accept the Ligue 1 club’s offer.
Two remaining options
A blow for the Marseille team, since the Argentinian was the priority.
