It was in Tours that the famous Michelin Guide unveiled its 2024 selection of the best restaurants in France. In total, 52 restaurants obtained a first star this year, but none in Pays de la Loire. In the region, there are now one three-star restaurant, one two-star restaurant and 19 one-star restaurants.
The restaurant La Marine, in Noirmoutier, by chef Alexandre Couillon, preserves its third star, acquired last year.
Two fewer starred restaurants
On the other hand, two restaurants in the region lost their stars this year: Roza in Nantes and 1825 in Gesté in Maine-et-Loire, which recently saw the arrival of a new chef.
