Manuel Neuer extends his contract with Bayern
Manuel Neuer is now 37 years old, but what does that mean for a goalkeeper?

Manuel Newer One month after his comeback, he extended his contract with FC Bayern by one year. The contract now runs until 2025. Replacement keeper Sven Ulreich will also remain with the Munich team until then.
“I’m happy to be staying at FC Bayern for another year. After my long injury, I’m fully attacking again,” said Neuer, according to the statement. The 2014 world champion goalkeeper made his comeback at the end of October after a long injury break. In December he broke his leg in a skiing accident.

“I really enjoy being on the pitch with this team. I am convinced that together with the fans we can achieve our big goals in the next few years – and of course that includes the Champions League final in 2025 Munich. Knowing Sven will continue to be by my side makes it all the nicer,” said Neuer.
Neuer came to FC Bayern from FC Schalke 04 in 2011. He has also led the team as captain since 2017. He won the treble of the Champions League, championship and DFB Cup twice with FC Bayern (2013, 2020) and won the Club World Cup twice.
