Ralf Rangnick is apparently getting more and more into trouble at Manchester United. The criticism of the stars is increasing – and there are bad nicknames around.
Manchester United are said to be dissatisfied with coach Ralf Rangnick’s training methods. To ESPNinformation, some players would call this “old-fashioned”.
Above all, they would find it negative that the training would mainly revolve around the basic organization of the team. Some of the roster would like more dynamic units and fewer 11v11s.
Manchester United stars compare assistant coach to ‘Ted Lasso’
The fact that Rangnick leaves many training sessions to his assistant Chris Armas is also ridiculed. Some players would compare the American to Ted Lasso from the comedy series of the same name because he has never coached a club outside of North America before.
Armas’ last job at Toronto FC was also not very successful (two wins from 15 games). The 49-year-old previously worked at Red Bull New York.
United are currently sixth in the Premier League. The team only won half of twelve competitive games under rangnick.
