CR7 could leave the Red Devils after just one season. For a whereabouts he prescribes a clear condition.

Cristiano Ronaldo could apparently leave Manchester United after one season. According to Daily Star the Portuguese puts a condition for staying beyond the summer.

According to this, Ronaldo, whose contract runs until 2023, would only stay if he liked the successor solution from interim coach Ralf Rangnick. In the past few weeks, Mauricio Pochettino and Erik ten Hag, among others, have been traded.

The report also shows that the 36-year-old would not support Rangnick’s continued employment as head coach.

Rangnick is under criticism

According to the current status, this is not an option for the Red Devils anyway, they say. As originally planned, the 63-year-old should move into the background as a consultant after the end of the season.

Towards the end of last year there had already been rumors from England that large parts of the team were dissatisfied with Rangnick’s way of working. The many different systems that the German has played so far would meet with incomprehension. The press and some experts had recently sharply criticized Rangnick.
