Amad Diallo has hardly had a chance at Manchester United lately. Now the youngster is supposed to gain match practice with Glasgow Rangers.
Manchester United has loaned right winger Amad Diallo (19) to Scottish record champions Glasgow Rangers until the end of the season. This was officially announced by both clubs.
“I’m happy to have joined Rangers until the end of the season,” the Ivorian is quoted as saying on the Scots’ website: “It’s a great opportunity for me to come to such a big club that has helped me in so many ways respect demands.”
Rangers coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst was also enthusiastic: “I’ve known him for some time and when the opportunity arose to get him, we absolutely wanted to take it.”
Diallo at United only replacement
Diallo only switched from Atalanta Bergamo to Manchester a year ago for a fee of 21 million euros, where he still has a contract until 2025.
He only made one appearance with the Red Devils this season.
