Manchester United: Bruno Fernandes crashes Protz-Porsche – football

Body damage on Easter Monday…

Man United star Bruno Fernandes (27) was involved in an accident on Monday morning. According to “Mirror”, the Portuguese crashed his Porsche Panamera (an electric car) into a Volkswagen. Fernandes and all occupants of the Porsche (value: approx. 113,430 euros) escaped without serious injuries. It is unclear whether the car was totaled.

It has also not been clarified whether a person was injured in the other car, which had slipped into a wooden garden fence and in which the airbag was deployed.

Photos from the accident show Fernandes assessing the damage to his vehicle. The teammate of superstar Cristiano Ronaldo (37) is said to have taken part in ManUnited training on Monday.

On Tuesday evening, the Red Devils play in the Premier League at Liverpool FC (9 p.m., live Sky and HERE in the ticker). In the first leg at Old Trafford in October 2021, there was a hearty 0: 5 smack against the team of coach Jürgen Klopp (54). ManUnited has to do without five professionals: Edinson Cavani, Scott McTominay, Luke Shaw, Raphael Varane and Fred are not even going to Liverpool.

ManUnited interim coach Ralf Rangnick (63) on Monday afternoon: “Yes, he (Bruno Fernandes; editor’s note) trained with the team. Apparently the accident happened on the way to Carrington (that’s where the ManUnited training center is; editor’s note). As far as I know nobody was hurt. He is ok and will be ready for action tomorrow.”

Bruno Fernandes (contract until 2026, from Sporting Lisbon) has been an important professional for ManUnited since moving in January 2020, scoring 49 goals in 120 competitive games for the English record champions.

United are currently fifth in the Premier League, three points behind Tottenham in fourth (eligible to play in the Champions League). In addition to Liverpool, the last games of the season are against the following opponents: Arsenal (A), Chelsea (H), Brentford (H), Brighton & Hove Albion (A) and Crystal Palace (H).
