A 32-year-old Gardois was indicted for acts of violence aggravated by three aggravating circumstances with an incapacity for work of more than eight days, and less than eight days for a second victim. He was incarcerated.
He is suspected of being one of the attackers of the host of a nursery school in Montpellier on Monday, November 22. That day, four people had entered the grounds of the Jean-Deroin school, in the district of La Martelle. They had violently extracted a 35-year-old daycare worker in front of the children, before beating him on the sidewalk in front of the establishment. The medical examiner’s report cited five days of ITT. A father came to intervene had been severely struck on the jaw and was prescribed ten days of ITT.
Personal revenge?
The woman who drove the car was also indicted for complicity. Placed under judicial control, she is prohibited from coming into contact with her companion, from attending school where this violent assault took place, with the obligation to report to the gendarmerie.
According to the first elements of the investigation, the punitive expedition took place against a background of personal revenge. The investigation will try to find the identity of the other three members of the commando and precisely determine the motivations of this expedition.
