In Lower Franconia, a drunk man slept off his intoxication in a strange house. The resident discovered the unknown man sleeping in flower pots stored in the basement early on Saturday morning and alerted the officers, the police said. A spokesman said on Saturday that the man got into the house in Bad Neustadt an der Saale (Rhön-Grabfeld district) through the open front door.
According to the report, a patrol escorted the man in his 20s peacefully out of the basement. The drunk man said he was wrong in the house. A breath alcohol test on the man showed around 1.6 per mille.
