An unknown man is said to have attacked and stolen from a cyclist in Landshut. According to her, the 44-year-old was taking a break on a park bench on Wednesday when a man hit her in the face with his fist and choked her, according to a police statement on Thursday. He also took her wallet and her cell phone.
The unknown man then fled on a bicycle. A pedestrian helped the woman and informed the police, it said. Paramedics took her to hospital with minor injuries. The police found the woman’s empty wallet and her cell phone near the park bench. The investigators are now looking for witnesses.
