A man was injured with a pitchfork in a neighborhood dispute between two men in an apartment building in Türkheim, Swabia (Unterallgäu district). The argument on Sunday was triggered by equipment in the common hallway that one of the men is said to have left there, according to a police statement on Monday.
During the argument, one of the men initially picked up a pitchfork. Then there was a scuffle in which the other neighbor was injured in the eye with the implement. Family members were able to separate the two. An ambulance took the injured man to the hospital. The background and course of the incident were initially unclear. The police are now investigating grievous bodily harm, said a spokesman.
