Man burnt under bridge in Munich: Police set up investigation group – Munich

After the violent death of a man under a bridge in Munich, the police have set up an investigation team. This included twelve employees, said a spokesman for the Munich police headquarters on Tuesday. Eleven clues are currently being investigated that relate to the as yet unexplained identity of the burned dead man and a possible course of events.

Passers-by discovered the burning man under a pedestrian bridge at the English Garden on Thursday evening. According to the police on Friday, several witnesses tried to put the man out. An emergency doctor was only able to determine his death. Examinations of the body revealed that the man, who is believed to have come from the homeless community, died from “external influence,” it was said. The criminal police started the investigation and looked for witnesses.
