An apartment in La Seynes-sur-Mer (Var) was the scene of a sinister and dramatic story. It is within these walls that a 7-year-old child died on the night of Wednesday to Thursday after having suffered repeated blows probably carried out by his stepfather. The latter, suspected of having committed this violence, was arrested this Sunday in Brignoles, a town located about fifty kilometers from the apartment, reported France Blue. According to public radio, the little boy suffered a real ordeal. Already mistreated and beaten, he suffered from a fractured pelvis, an injury not treated so as not to arouse suspicion and already caused by the blows of his stepfather.
It was the mother of the little one who ended up giving the alert this Thursday after the new episode of violence from “her spouse”, causing her to flee into the hinterland. A “run” which therefore ended this Sunday. This one was placed was indicted Friday, for facts, on minor of less than 15 years, of homicide, of non-denunciation of crime and of abstention from bringing help, brought back France 3. This Monday, the sister and mother of the suspect, present at his side at the time of the violence, were also placed in police custody.
