Before we get to the series, a word about James Corden, who’s going through a bad patch. Corden, originally known in the UK as a performer in musicals and TV series, has been an international star since 2015 for hosting the late night show The Late Late Show with James Corden on the US broadcaster CBS. There he invented the column “Carpool Karaoke”, in which he drives around in the car singing with stars. This reaches millions of people on YouTube.
