Malik Harris represents Germany at ESC 2022 in Turin. The 24-year-old spoke up after winning the preliminary round.
Musician Malik Harris (24) will represent Germany at the ESC final in Turin (on May 14). Now the winner of the preliminary decision has reported on Instagram: “It’s still hard to believe what happened yesterday,” writes the musician from Landsberg am Lech about a photo in which he grins happily at the camera.
“All I can say right now is THANK YOU to each and every one of you who supported me yesterday,” Harris continued. “More to come later, I need some time to calm down.”
There were six acts to choose from
In the program “Germany 12 Points”, the son of moderator Ricky Harris (59) prevailed against five other artists and a band with his title “Rockstars” on Friday evening. The song, a mixture of pop and rap, drew a lot of applause and ultimately received the most votes via online and telephone voting.
