Conventional cosmetic products contain a long list of different active ingredients that only a chemist can understand. It only takes a few (natural) ingredients to make a lip balm.

Natural cosmetics are becoming increasingly important: In contrast to conventional cosmetics, organic care products do not contain any chemical or artificial ingredients, some of which are suspected of being harmful to our health. In addition, they are usually manufactured in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner – and that has its price. 1. Take a small saucepan, fill it one-third full with water and place it on the stove.
  2. Bring the water to a boil and place a glass or heatproof container in the water.
  3. Put the three ingredients mentioned in the container and let them melt in the water bath.
  4. Stir the ingredients until a homogeneous mass has formed – and fill them into the jars.
  5. Now put the liquid lip balm in a cold place to harden, the refrigerator is best suited.

  1. In the same saucepan, melt the beeswax and then the cocoa butter over a bain-marie and stir the contents.

  2. As soon as a homogeneous mass has formed, take the container out of the water bath and stir the jojoba oil evenly into the quantity.

3. Recipe
