The boss of an influencer agency confirmed this Friday evening, January 19, that she had filed a complaint against influencer Maeva Ghennam for, among other things, “death threats” causing “serious psychological trauma”.

This Friday, January 19, the “popess of influencers” filed a complaint against her former protégé Maeva Ghennam for “death threats, provocation of racial hatred, cyberharassment, blackmail and psychological violence”, BFMTV.com learned, confirming information from Paris Match.
In her complaint, which BFMTV.com was able to consult, the director of the influencer agency Shauna Events accuses the strong personality of Marseille on W9 of “crimes” committed between December 10 last year until recently.
Four months of conflict
In reality, their relationship has suddenly broken down since the Hamas attacks in Israel on October 7.
The influencer with 3.3 million subscribers on Instagram, who also accuses Magali Berdah of owing her money, did not appreciate a trip to Israel at the beginning of December by her former boss, who openly supports IDF in its war in the Gaza Strip.
Me David-Olivier Kaminski, who defends Magali Berdah, cited several videos where Maeva Ghennam insults and threatens her on her social networks.
“My babies, I’m too pissed at the big bitch (sic) Magali Berdah. I’m too pissed. I open my phone now, what do I see? ‘Oh I’m in Israel supporting these murderers who kill Palestinians every day'”, for example, she protested on Snapchat on December 10.
The lawyer also transmitted to the prosecution other “stories” (ephemeral publication, Editor’s note) or screenshots characteristic, according to him, of “death threats, cyberharassment, extortion, incitement to racial hatred and psychological violence against by Magali Berdah.
For her part, Maeva Ghennam reacted to the Paris-Match article on her Snapchat account. “She owes me 500,000 euros, she doesn’t answer the phone anymore. Well yes I insult her, what’s the matter? (…) Thief, scammer (…) She’s not the popess, she’s the traitor influence,” she wrote.
“Serious trauma”
According to Me David-Olivier Kaminski, his client “suffers from serious psychological trauma to the extent that she is the target of these individuals for purely ethical, religious and racial reasons but that she is also vulnerable due to the legal cases which are already worrying her.”
Magali Berdah indeed has a busy legal agenda. In addition to lawsuits against the YouTuber specializing in the news of influencers and reality TV stars Sam Zirah, she is the subject of prosecution for “bankruptcy” and “money laundering”. Charges relating to a company placed in compulsory liquidation in the summer of 2015. She was to be tried on Monday December 18, but her trial was postponed until September 30, 2024.
Magali Berdah is also a plaintiff in cyberharassment cases. In this file, the rapper Booba was indicted. Also, sentences of up to eight months in prison were requested against eight defendants.
