From July 1st, around 21 million pensioners in Germany will receive more money. In the west there are 4.39 percent more and in the east 5.86 percent. In addition, there is now also a pension value in East and West: It is 37.60 euros. The alignment is thus taking place a year earlier than planned. The current pension value West was 36.02 euros, the pension value East at 35.52 euros, which corresponded to 98.6 percent.
