Completely bizarre action by the Queen of Pop: Madonna (63) enters the digital art business for a good cause and sells three NFTs, so-called non-fungible tokens. Together with the NFT artist Beeple, she created a total of three videos that are now for sale. In a statement about the action, dubbed “Mother of Creation,” the singer said, “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to share my vision of the world as a mother and artist with Mike’s unique perspective.” She wants to explore the “concept of creation” and not only the way a child is born through a woman’s vagina, but also how an artist creates creativity. In addition, she wants to use the proceeds to help mothers who are currently in great need.
Money also benefits mothers in Ukraine
The proceeds from this campaign will benefit a total of three non-profit organizations, as stated on the website motherofcreation.xyz called. Among other things, a third of the money will be donated to “The Voices of Children Foundation”, which also helps mothers and children in Ukraine. The remainder will be split between NGOs The City of Joy and Black Mama’s Bail Out.
