Macron stable, Le Pen up, Zemmour down, according to a survey

The outgoing president would collect 25% in the first round against LR candidates Xavier Bertrand, Michel Barnier or Valérie Pécresse, but 28% against Éric Ciotti or Philippe Juvin.

Emmanuel Macron and Marine Le Pen would still be in the lead if the presidential election takes place on Sunday, while the putative candidate Eric Zemmour suffers a slight decline, according to an Ifop poll for the Sunday Newspaper and South-Radio published this Sunday.

The outgoing president would collect 25% (stable) in the first round against LR candidates Xavier Bertrand, Michel Barnier or Valérie Pécresse, but 28% against Éric Ciotti or Philippe Juvin.

LR members will vote to choose one of the five nomination contestants at a congress scheduled for December 1-4.

Zemmour in decline

In all these cases, the candidate of RN Marine Le Pen is stable, between 19 and 20%, or three points more than at the beginning of the month, while Eric Zemmour, at 14 or 15% depending on the case, loses two to three points.

Among the possible right-wing candidates, Xavier Bertrand would collect 13% (stable), Michel Barnier or Valérie Pécresse 10%. Eric Ciotti is credited with 6% and Philippe Juvin with 3%.

On the left, Anne Hidalgo remains at 6% in most configurations and Jean-Luc Mélenchon oscillates between 7.5 and 8.5%, one point ahead of Yannick Jadot who is between 6.5% and 7.5%.

Emmanuel Macron ahead of Marine Le Pen in the second round

In the event of a Macron-Le Pen second round, the current president is credited with 54% against 46% for the far-right candidate. It loses two points compared to the beginning of the least (56% against 44%).

Voting intentions do not constitute a forecast of the outcome of the ballot. They give an indication of the balance of power and dynamics on the day of the survey.

Survey carried out on a sample of 1,351 people registered on the electoral rolls, taken from a sample of 1,510 people, representative of the French population aged 18 and over.
