San Francisco—In Pokemon GO a new event has been announced for this week where you can benefit from lots of bonuses. developer niantic has planned some raids, shinys and wild spawns for you again. This time, the event will coincide with the celebrations being held in Asia to coincide with the Lunar New Year at the end of January. When does the Lunar New Year event start in Pokémon GO? The second event in January 2023 in Pokémon GO will take place directly this Thursday and developer Niantic has now revealed all the details. Here you can see the start time of the Lunar New Year event.

- End of Lunar New Year Event: Monday, January 23, 2023 – 8:00 p.m. (local time)
What bonuses are there? The Pokémon GO Lunar New Year event gives you a chance at some special bonuses that you can only get during the event (until January 23).
