Lukas Bärfuss and the new series “Earth, Fire, Water, Air” at the Munich Kammerspiele are looking for encouragement in the climate crisis. Lea Bonasera, co-founder of the “Last Generation”, will be there at the launch. A good nudge.
“The earth is not doing well, it is burning,” says Lukas Bärfuss. The water has and continues to cause problems, the air is polluted, animals are dying out. The writer gives a few numbers, knowing that he doesn’t actually have to. “We know the facts,” he says. But: “We’re missing the pictures.” Also the encouragement, as well as the answer to the question, “What can we expect from our children?”
