The biggest success
At the beginning of the noughties they were the German answer to the Spice Girls: The girl band No Angels was formed in the first season of the music casting show “Popstars”. The trained musical actress Lucy Diakovska was one of five singers who prevailed against more than 4,500 applicants. The No Angels released over a dozen singles and six albums. To date, with a total of over five million physical records sold and countless gold and platinum awards, they are the most successful German girl group of all time and the most successful in continental Europe. The band has already broken up twice – and they came back twice, most recently in 2021.
Why is she going to the jungle camp?
One reason for her participation is the death of her mother in 2020. “After my mother’s death, I was in the past for a very long time. Australia will be a Lyudmila reboot,” said the 47-year-old.
