A Toyota GT driver probably imagined the outcome of this car race differently. On Monday evening he raced down a country road in the Northeim district when another car suddenly appeared behind him. Apparently, the 25-year-old feels challenged to illegal car racing. He accelerates properly, according to the police he reaches a top speed of over 170 km/h. She knows this so well because she is sitting in the pursuer’s car herself – as an officer on civil patrol.

Race ends in investigation

In the village of Mackensen, the police finally manage to stop the speeder. And he apparently chattered freely that he had seen a “rival” in the civilian patrol car who wanted to race with him. And according to the police, the 25-year-old adds that he often likes to drive fast.

In the future, however, he may no longer do so: investigations into prohibited motor vehicle racing have been initiated against the speeder.
