Lower Bavaria: Man takes car back after theft with a tow truck – Bavaria

A car allegedly sold illegally by an alleged car repair shop in Lower Bavaria has given the police a lot of work. As the investigators announced on Monday, a man in Landshut had filed a complaint after giving his car to the supposed workshop for a main inspection before a planned sale and not getting it back for more than a month. The police found out that the alleged company does not exist.

A man who saw an advertisement for the car posted on the Internet and discovered the car in Fürth led to the trail of the car. The man reported this to the 52-year-old owner, who in turn made his way to Middle Franconia to get his car back.

The alleged new owner of the car then called the police because his car had just been towed away. The case was only cleared up when the police stopped the rightful owner in the tow truck with his car on the A 9 shortly before Munich. According to a spokesman, the police are investigating a suspect for embezzlement, among other things. He did not give any details about the alleged perpetrator.
