One person died in a fire in Oberköllnbach Castle in Lower Bavaria. It was unclear whether other people were in the building in Postau (Landshut district) at the time the fire broke out, the police said on Friday.
The police were unable to provide information on the identity of the fatality, the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage. The fire brigade was on site with a large contingent, it said.
