They wanted to find their great love “blindly”, but now all couples from the second “Love Makes Blind” season have separated.

“Love is Blind” is the title of an unusual dating reality series on Netflix. A number of singles get to know each other “blindly”, i.e. visually isolated from each other – and get engaged before they even make eye contact. The second season was released on Netflix in February of this year. She ended up with two weddings and two dramatic breakups at the aisle. As the magazine “Eonline” reportsbut both couples from said season finale are now history.

“Love is blind”: No couple from issue two is together anymore

The events overturned accordingly in the past week. On August 15, show contestant Danielle Ruhl filed for divorce from her husband, Nick Thompson, in Chicago. The couple celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary in June. Just a few weeks ago, Ruhl shared a series of pictures on Instagramwhich show her and Thompson in romantic poses.

On August 17th, just two days later, “Love Makes Blind” participants Jarrette Jones and Iyanna McNeely announced their separation on their respective Instagram channels. In a joint statement, the couple writes: “After careful consideration, we are sad to announce that we have separated and will begin the divorce process”. The reason given by McNeely and Jones is that their “lives would go in different directions”.

“Love is blind”: Two couples from the premiere season are still together

In retrospect, the results of the second season of the successful dating series are not particularly good. However, according to the current status, two couples from the first season, which was released in 2020, are still married. Amber Pike and Matt Barnett are still a couple, as is Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton. The latter two spouses run a joint business YouTube channel and published the marriage and relationship guide Leap of Faith: Finding Love the Modern Way in June of last year.

Netflix has now officially confirmed a third to fifth season of “Love is Blind”.. Season three has already been filmed and will probably appear on the streaming service next year.
