Louisiana: Man shoots 14-year-old girl playing hide-and-seek on his property

In the US state of Louisiana, a homeowner saw a shadow on his property. He took the gun and hit a 14-year-old girl in the head.

Once again there has been a serious case of gun violence in the USA. According to the police, a man was arrested in the state of Louisiana in the southern United States. According to the sheriff’s office, the 14-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the back of the head. The alleged perpetrator testified to the police that he saw shadows on his property and then took up arms. When he went outside, he saw people running from his property – and shot at them. That’s when he met the girl.

14-year-old victim not critically injured

When officers arrived, they found the injured youth. Fortunately, the gunshot wound to the back of the head turned out to be non-life-threatening, and the girl was taken to hospital. In recent weeks, a number of cases in which property owners have taken up arms in the United States have caused a stir and horror. The case of a 16-year-old black man from the state of Missouri in April became particularly well-known. The youth had mistyped the address and accidentally rang the wrong doorbell.
