35 million win: lottery player from the Essen area hits the Eurojackpot

A lucky lottery winner from North Rhine-Westphalia can look forward to exactly 35,268,799.20 euros.
A lottery player from the Essen area has it The Eurojackpot was won and can now look forward to around 35 million euros, as Westlotto in Münster announced yesterday. The bettor from the Ruhr area had correctly marked the numbers 6, 15, 21, 34 and 48 as well as the two Euro numbers 1 and 5. The numbers for the Eurojackpot lottery were drawn on Tuesday in Helsinki, Finland.
West Lotto: probability of winning is 1 in 140 million
The probability of winning the Eurojackpot is one in 140 million. In the second prize category, three participants were each able to win 392,365.30 euros. Once the sum went to Baden-Württemberg, once to Hesse and once to Finland. In the third prize category, 82,978.40 euros went to a total of eight players from Berlin, Hesse, Italy, Sweden, the Netherlands, Croatia and Hungary.
The current win is the eighth jackpot in a row that has gone to Germany, Westlotto announced. There has never been such a winning streak by a nation in the Eurojackpot lottery, in which 18 European countries take part. Before that, 13.7 million euros were most recently paid out in Poland at the beginning of May.
