Carry the Olympic flame has always been a dream for you? One of the partners of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, Banque Populaire, invites the general public to apply to take part in the adventure in the Hauts-de-France region. This tradition of carrying a flame between Olympia, cradle of the ancient Olympics in Greece, and the organizing city dates back to 1936, invented by Nazi Germany during the Berlin Olympics. It has endured to become today the symbol, par excellence, of the modern Olympics.
To apply, an online platform opened since June 1. It will remain accessible until September 30 for volunteers over 15 years old. The latter must present their actions and initiatives via a form. Selection will be by lottery.

The Olympic flame is due to land in France in Marseille on May 8, 2024. About 11,000 carriers are expected to transport it to the final cauldron. The route of this flame will be revealed on June 23. We already know that it will pass in Hauts-de-France.
