More people than ever before have been and are infected with the corona virus in the omicron wave. But what does that actually mean for her? In the two-year pandemic, scientists have learned a lot about Sars-CoV-2. It is known that some people die from it, others take the infection like a cold and still others suffer from persistent long-Covid consequences. But there are more or less exact figures on how people will fare, at best for that proportion of patients who become seriously ill. The number of unreported cases of Long Covid is therefore high.
