What does a prospective astronaut actually need to know? The British astronaut Tim Peake has published a task from his application process to become an astronaut on his Facebook page.
Are you able to solve this logic puzzle?
The task is as follows: “Imagine that you are looking at a cube. This die can roll left, right, forward (toward you), or backward (away from you). There is a dot at the bottom of the cube.
Now imagine the dice rolling: forward, left, left, front, right, back, right. Where is the point now?
Here comes the solution: If you come to the conclusion that the point is at the bottom again, i.e. at its starting point, you are completely correct.
