Liverpool FC are said to be ready to invest a lot of money in Darwin Nunez to strengthen their team. The striker is said to come from Benfica.

Liverpool FC is apparently serious about recruiting shooting star Darwin Nunez. Like the Portuguese newspaper records reported, Reds coach Jürgen Klopp would like to guide the Benfica striker to England.

The total package of the transfer should amount to 100 million euros, an official offer will follow soon. The 22-year-old Uruguayan’s contract in Lisbon runs until 2025.

Nunez scored 34 goals in 41 competitive games for Benfica last season and has been linked with numerous top clubs in recent years, including with FC Bayern.

Therefore, according to the report, the Reds would now appear to want to close the deal early to avoid having to bid on other clubs, which in turn could drive the price up.
