Just minutes after the announcement of the departure of Luis Enrique, the Spanish Federation formalized the name of his successor: it is Luis de la Fuente, who was previously in charge of the U21s.

Towards an Aguerd package for Morocco-Portugal

The denial of the Portuguese Federation concerning Ronaldo
In a press release, the Portuguese Federation strongly denied the information from Record concerning Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese newspaper argued that CR7 had, for a time, considered leaving the rally when he learned of his non-tenure against Switzerland in the round of 16.
“The FPF specifies that at no time did the captain of the national team, Cristiano Ronaldo, threaten to leave the rally in Qatar. Cristiano Ronaldo is building a unique record every day, serving the national team and the country, which must be respected and which attests to an undeniable degree of commitment. Morocco-Portugal: seven special flights to Doha for Moroccan fans
Royal Air Maroc and the Moroccan Football Federation are organizing several special flights for Moroccan fans ahead of Saturday’s quarter-final against Portugal. Seven jumbo jets are specially chartered to Qatar. Flights are scheduled for Friday and Saturday with a return on Sunday. The price: 850 euros round trip. The Moroccan community is already very present in Qatar.

Portugal: Ronaldo would have threatened to leave when he learned of his non-tenure against Switzerland

Portugal: package confirmed for Danilo, who will return to Paris with Nuno Mendes
Portugal’s squad will drop from 26 to 24 players on Thursday. According to the Portuguese press, two of them will leave the group two days before the quarter-final of the World Cup against Morocco on Saturday (4 p.m.). Nuno Mendes (20 years old, 18 caps) and Danilo Pereira (31 years old, 64 caps, 2 goals) will indeed leave Qatar in the coming hours, definitively recording their package for the rest of the competition.
