RMC Sport info: PSG players have chosen Marquinhos as captain

Luis Enrique said this Friday in front of the press that he had not decided who to entrust the captain’s armband to PSG. Instead, the Spanish coach explained to let his players choose. According to information from RMC Sport, the vote taken before the match against Toulouse confirmed the maintenance of Marquinhos as captain of the Ile-de-France team. Substitute in the draw against Lorient (0-0), the Brazilian defender should therefore guide the group well during the second day of Ligue 1 and the trip planned for this Saturday at the Stadium.

Démbélé ready to start

He is ready to play from the first minute.

On the complementarity of the line of attack

“We still need to strengthen it because it is the line where we had the fewest recruits but we still have work to do on complementarity.”

Marquinhos still captain?

“It’s very simple, I don’t choose the captain, the players choose. They met this week. There are four captains, it’s something that is defined by the players, not by the coach, I want let it be their captain, but not my captain.”

“It’s not your savings!”, Riolo in great shape for his return to the After

A major player in the summer transfer window, Kylian Mbappé should ultimately stay at Paris Saint-Germain for the entire 2023-2024 season and thus complete his contract. For his big comeback in After Foot on RMC this Thursday, Daniel Riolo delivered his feelings on the soap opera Mbappé when talking with a PSG supporter. A big moment.

“But what can you care about? What can you care if he (PSG) sells it or if it’s free? What does it matter to you whether they collect 100 million or not, dropped the editorialist of After Football for his first night of the season. It’s not your savings! It’s not the Caisse d’Epargne! What the fuck can you do? We don’t touch your PEL or your CODEVI! The club has been spending billions for ten years, that won’t change anything. It’s not going to change Qatar’s finances. I do not understand why the fans are so attached to the fact of knowing if he goes free or not. What the fuck can they do?”

And Daniel Riolo continues: “What would Mbappé be indebted for? He is indebted to play well, he is indebted to be successful. He is indebted to score goals. He is not indebted to be a market value. Is sentimental continuity his selling price? It’s madness! The important thing is the goals he’s going to score. If he leaves scoring goals and being the top scorer in the history of the club…”

Mbappé and Dembélé aligned against Toulouse?

After several weeks on the sidelines of Luis Enrique’s group, Kylian Mbappé has been reintegrated into the PSG pro squad. No more stay with the lofters for the star who should play well all season in Ligue 1. Good news for Luis Enrique who should therefore be able to count on the striker for the trip to Toulouse.

Present in the stands against Lorient, Ousmane Dembélé is also expected in the Ile-de-France group. Arrived from Barça during the summer transfer window, the 26-year-old winger is one of the main reinforcements for PSG. Friends, the two international tricolors could make sparks in the Parisian jersey.
