The German women’s national soccer team is facing an important game. In the penultimate group game of the Nations League, the DFB women will host Denmark in Rostock on Friday evening. “We know that we are capable of beating Denmark and we don’t need to do any miracles or deviate from things that we have rehearsed for years,” said goalkeeper Merle Frohms in advance.

The two-time world champion will continue to be looked after by interim national coach Horst Hrubesch. “Everyone in our team can confirm that Horst Hrubesch is extremely good for us as a person. “He picked us up where we were five years ago and didn’t try to force us in anywhere,” explains Frohms in an interview with the FAZ.
