LIVE – 49.3 on Social Security: the RN will vote for the motion of censure of La France insoumise

“A permanent Halloween”: environmentalists “will never vote for any motion of censure of the RN”

Environmentalists, through the voice of Benjamin Lucas, defended their position against the RN.

“We will never vote for any motion of censure of the RN, everything separates us”, launched the deputy of Yvelines.

“You are a permanent Halloween for our humanist values”, still judged Benjamin Lucas.

“The risk of a brouhaha”: Faure justifies his choice not to sign the motion of censure, while understanding “the meaning”

Olivier Faure justified the choice of his group not to sign the motion of censure of the rebellious.

“It is the risk of a brouhaha which will only benefit anti-parliamentarianism”, justified the socialist.

He still assured not to “share the opportunity”, while understanding “the meaning”.

Ecologists, socialists and communists could in part vote for LFI’s censure motion.

Marine Le Pen, through Sébastien Chenu, argued that her group would also vote for this text.

“A crack in a cardboard wall”: the Modem mocks the divisions within the Nupes

Modem MP Philippe Vigier made fun of the Nupes.

“The rebellious have become orphans. Is this the sign of a crack in your cardboard wall or the beginning of the laziness theorized by environmentalists?”, scolded the centrist.

LFI tabled its motion of censure alone, which should probably be voted on by a majority of environmentalists, socialists and rebellious people.

“It would be irresponsible to cause chaos”: the LRs close the door again to the votes of the motions of censure

Thibault Bazin, the representative of LR, defended the position of his group which will not vote for a motion of censure this afternoon.

“It would be irresponsible, for political calculations, to cause chaos,” launched the right-wing elected official.

“We are preparing for retirement”: Guetté warns the government against extending the retirement age

Clémence Guetté raised the issue of pensions in her speech on the motion of censure of the rebellious.

“We are preparing for pensions (…) You did not dare to slip (this reform) into your sneaky budget”, advanced the LFI deputy from Val-de-Marne.

Motion of censure: Clémence Guetté regrets “a budget of inaction” in the face of “McGyver caregivers”

Clémentine Guetté sharply criticized the Social Security budget for which Elisabeth Borne triggered 49.3, seeing it as a “budget of inaction”.

She also hailed “McGyver carers”, using tape to close broken windows or using their phones when there was no working neon.

“RN deputies will vote on any other motion”: Chenu announces his support for LFI’s motion

As we had announced a little earlier in this live, Sébastien Chenu announced that his group would again vote for the motion of censure of the rebellious.

“The deputies will vote on any other motion, intended to make you review your copy in the interest of France and the French”, launched the deputy to the address of Elisabeth Borne.

RN again calls for reinstatement of unvaccinated caregivers

Sébastien Chenu called for the reintegration of caregivers not vaccinated against Covid-19, considered “a gesture of appeasement”.

To defend his motion of censure, Chenu denounces Borne’s “social distancing” as a “political shield”

Sébastien Chenu aimed at Elisabeth Borne from the stands.

“Your world above is folding, stiffening, protecting itself, and using social distancing as a political shield,” said the RN deputy.

“A relative and weak majority”: Chenu denounces “Macronism which cannot survive without Macron”

Sébastien Chenu took a stern look at the presidential majority, judging it “weak, and without panache”.

“You wonder how macronism will be able to survive Macron,” said the RN vice-president of the National Assembly.

The examination of the motions of censure has just begun

It is the deputy RN, Sébastien Chenu, who goes up first to the podium to defend the motion of censure of his party.

The RN will again vote on LFI’s motion of censure, according to information from BFMTV.

The RN will again vote on the motion of censure of LFI

The RN will once again vote for the motion of censure filed by La France insoumise this afternoon, according to information from BFMTV.

The decision was taken at the very beginning of the afternoon in a group meeting.

Why La France insoumise files a new motion of censure without its Nupes allies

After the third 49.3 initiated by Elisabeth Borne, the rebellious filed a new motion of censure to oppose the government.

But this time, they are alone in the maneuver. Its very low probability of being adopted coupled with the political coup of Marine Le Pen cooled the ardor of the Nupes.

“We cannot say every day that we are going to overthrow the government if we do not have the parliamentary forces to do so. It is not serious”, advances the communist deputy, Sébastien Jumel, to BFMTV.com .

A large part of ecologists, socialists and communists should however vote for it.

We summarize the discussions within the Nupes in our article.

Departure from Borne after the motions of censure: a very unlikely hypothesis

A motion of censure requires to be adopted to bring together at least 289 deputies, with the consequence of bringing down the government which has engaged its responsibility.

This possibility seems almost impossible.

Last Monday, three motions of censure have already been rejected. One carried by all of Nupes was also voted by the RN group, but it missed 50 votes to reach an absolute majority.

This choice caused great unease in the ranks of the left.
