Literary autumn in Zorneding: 14th edition of a successful model – Ebersberg

When summer comes to an end and the long, dark evenings approach, literature lovers can at least look forward to one thing: the Literary Autumn in Zorneding. For the 14th time, the “Pro Christophoruskirche” association is organizing the series of events together with the Zorneding community library. A colorful mixture of literature is offered in nine events from September to December – often accompanied by music.

However, for the third year in a row, the corona pandemic has had an impact on the program planning: Because of the associated requirements, evenings cannot be held in the community library, the organizers say. Rather, all evenings take place in the Christophoruskirche or in the community hall of the Christophoruskirche.

The series of events starts on Friday, September 16th, with offbeat short stories under the motto “Whisky”. Karin Ossig, Gabi Schlereth, Mayor Piet Mayr and Peter Wurm present funny wisdom from the world of whiskey from 8 p.m. in the Christophoruskirche. The musical accompaniment comes from the trio 3 4 U. And the reading even has something to offer in culinary terms: During the break, Roberto Panciera from Zornedinger Eiscafé Stracciatella will serve special ice cream creations. Entry costs 15 euros.
