Are the most handsome French men to be found in the South of France? Saturday evening, Lisandre Van Muylders won the title of Mister France 2023, during the final which took place in Poissy. Originally from Porticcio in Corsica, the 22-year-old young man, sports coach and diving instructor, succeeds Lenny Tabourel from Marseille.
Twenty-nine candidates were in the running in this competition created in 1993 and chaired this year by Nathalie Marquay.
Crowned Mister Corse in October 2022, the winner, who describes himself as “shy” did not hide having an eco-friendly streak. He would like to develop “an environmental project, in collaboration with island associations” in order to “raise public awareness of the actions to be taken in terms of waste”, he told the newspaper Corsica Morning.
