Lionel Messi hopes to return to Barcelona after retirement

Lionel Messi is hoping to return to FC Barcelona after his playing career ends. The attacker from Paris Saint-Germain said in an interview with the Spanish sports newspaper Sports.
“Yes, I have always said that I would like to help the club one more time,” said Messi when asked. The 34-year-old said: “I would very much like to take on a role as technical secretary one day if there is an opportunity at Barca.”
Messi actually wanted to extend his contract in Barcelona, which expired on June 30, due to the financial problems, however, the club was unable toto keep the six-time world footballer.
