Lille will organize the start of the Grande Boucle, it smells like cobblestones in the first week

We can already imagine a little ride on the cobblestones. By giving Lille the task of hosting the Grand Départ of the Tour de France in 2025 this Tuesday, we say to ourselves that the organizers (ASO) of the Grande Boucle already have a plan in mind. If, according to ASO, “the details of this Grand Départ and the stages which make it up will be revealed during a press conference on Thursday November 30, 2023”, the names of the Trouée d’Arenberg, Mons-en-Pévèle or the Carrefour de l’arbre are on the lips of all fans.

For the third time in its history, after 1960 and 1994, Lille will organize the Grand Départ of the Tour de France. This allows the biggest cycling event in the world to return to France for the Grand Départ, after three consecutive years outside our borders. As a reminder, the Tour started from Copenhagen (Denmark) in 2022 and from Bilbao (Spain) in 2023. It will start from Florence in 2024, and three stages will take place in Italy.
