Life imprisonment for Mohamed Lamine Aberouz

Mohamed Lamine Aberouz was on trial for complicity in the assassination of a couple of police officers at their home in Magnanville (Yvelines). For this attack committed on June 13, 2016 in the name of the Islamic State (IS) organization, he was sentenced this Wednesday to life imprisonment, with a security sentence of 22 years.

The Paris Special Assize Court followed the public prosecutor’s requisitions to the letter. The attorney general had called for the maximum sentence against the accused, who never stopped proclaiming his innocence during the trial.
