“I am not a cold and bloodthirsty monster”: after a final and long monologue by Jean-Marc Reiser, the Haut-Rhin Assize Court of Appeal, which has been judging this 62-year-old man for ten days for the assassination of Sophie Le Tan in 2018, withdrew to deliberate this morning. The nine popular jurors and three professional magistrates finally confirmed the life sentence, to which the sexagenarian had been sentenced at first instance.
