Level Finance Confirms $1M Worth of Tokens Stolen Due to Smart Contract Bug

Level Finance security breach This allowed attackers to steal more than $1 million worth of Level Finance (LVL) tokens.

Level Finance notified 20,000 Twitter followers that more than 214,000 LVL tokens were withdrawn and swapped into 3,345 BNB with an estimated value of $1.01 million.

According to Peckshield, Level Finance’s “LevelReferralControllerV2” smart contract has a flaw that allows for “repeated referral claims” from the same epoch, which was confirmed by Level Finance in a later statement on Discord.
