Five people – children and women – were injured in a traffic accident on the A6 in the Upper Palatinate, some of them life-threatening. The driver overturned the car while fleeing a police check on Sunday, the federal police said, suspecting a smuggling. The car stopped near the Leuchtenberg junction (Neustadt an der Waldnaab district) in a wooded area between the A6 and B14.
The five injured were taken to the hospital. According to the police, according to the current status of the investigation, there were three women and two children.
