Renata and Valentin Lusin definitely want to become parents – the two “Let’s Dance” professionals make no secret of that. However, the 36-year-old has already suffered a miscarriage three times, most recently this year. But giving up is not an option for the couple, and now they can announce positive news: Renata is pregnant (again).
On the one hand, numerous fans on Instagram are happy for the audience favorites. However, at least the type of announcement also causes confusion.

Last time, the couple announced the pregnancy news after a short period of time so as not to leave fans in the dark. The background: A new season of “Let’s Dance” was just around the corner, which Renata couldn’t take part in for obvious reasons.
“I’m so proud of my wife for always staying strong,” Valentin now explains to RTL. In a recent photo, he places his hands on Renata’s stomach from behind. The dancer is beaming from ear to ear.
There are two new feed posts about the Lusins on the official “Let’s Dance” channel on Instagram. In one clip, Valentin first jokingly asks his wife: “Tell me, have you gained weight? Is that possible?” Renata then describes the situation as “very exciting”. Finally it worked. Valentin thanks everyone for keeping his fingers crossed.
“Let’s Dance” fans are critical
Despite all the joy, one thing stands out: The pregnancy was announced first via RTL and not via Renata and Valentin’s personal social media accounts. Many fans are surprised by this and openly communicate this in the comments section on Instagram. For example, a user writes in the direction of the station:
“Why don’t you let them announce it themselves?”
The comment immediately received several dozen likes. Another user agrees with her own comment and explains: “I also think that’s a shame. You should let the parents go first.” At least Renata also shared the post from the “Let’s Dance” account on her own page.
The professional dancer had already posted in her Instagram story a few hours earlier. In it, however, she spoke about completely different topics, such as the German Television Prize, which was awarded the evening before.
On this occasion, the Lusins met Anna Ermakova, who danced with Valentin in the last season of “Let’s Dance” and won. Renata’s participation in the show next year is unlikely due to her current pregnancy.
