The Corona round on “Let’s Dance” continues. A week after dance partner Kathrin Menzinger, circus artist René Casselly is positive.

Again, the dance show “Let’s Dance” (RTL / also on RTL +) makes headlines for Corona. The next celebrity has become infected with circus artist René Casselly (25). “Unfortunately, no good news for René Casselly: he tested positive and will be out of show 5. We wish you a speedy recovery and a speedy recovery,” the broadcaster announced on Instagram.

His dance partner Kathrin Menzinger (33) had also tested positive last week and had to sit out the show last Friday (March 18). She wrote under the Insta-Post: “I was so hoping that you wouldn’t get it. Get well soon partner, get fit quickly. We still have a lot to do.”

René Casselly: “My heart is bleeding”

Meanwhile, Casselly has already personally reported from the quarantine. With a slightly rough voice he says on Instagram: “I’m just extremely sad that we won’t be on the show next week. My heart is bleeding. I would have been so keen to dance with Kathrin again. Poor Kathrin has to do one more now Take a week off. I hope that we’ll be fit again soon and can finally start training again.”

He also wishes the other couples a successful show, he will sit in front of the television and keep his fingers crossed for them.

Lots of infections

The current season is continuously overshadowed by Corona. Juror Joachim Llambi (57) had to fit in the opening show. Actor Hardy Krueger Jr. (53) fell out in the first two regular shows and finally had to leave the format completely.

And the celebrity dancers Caroline Bosbach (32), Timur Ülker (32) and Lilly zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg (49) had already been caught. Dance professionals Andrzej Cibis (34) and Malika Dzumaev (31) also had to take a forced break due to positive corona tests.

The next edition of the live show will take place on March 25th.
