On Friday, for the first time, no celebrity left “Let’s Dance”. René Casselly was able to secure an additional point for this.

Viewers saw two premieres on Friday evening on “Let’s Dance”. On the one hand, for the first time, three dance couples were canceled in a single show. On the other hand, in the third regular broadcast of the current season on RTL (also on RTL+) that’s why none of the participating celebrities are hanging up their dancing shoes.

In the past few days, the broadcaster had already announced that Lilly zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg (49), Caroline Bosbach (32) and Timur Ülker (32) would not perform with their professional dancers because of positive corona tests. Therefore, not twelve, but only nine couples showed their rehearsed choreographies. While the floor in the studio was significantly emptier than originally planned, numerous viewers present “after such a long time” made for a “full hut” again, said moderator Daniel Hartwich (43).

More courage and a hot rumba

None of the participating couples were threatened with the end, but the winners would receive a bonus point for the fourth show, RTL stated before the live show. Riccardo Basile (30) and Isabel Edvardsson (39) opened the competition with a thoroughly successful cha-cha-cha and 17 points from the judges. The sports presenter showed more courage, explained Motsi Mabuse (40); Jorge González (54) and Joachim Llambi (57) agreed.

Mike Singer (22) and Christina Luft (32) scored two points more with a Charleston. According to González, the singer once showed where to go. The first highlight of the evening was presented by Amira Pocher (29) and Massimo Sinató (41) with a hot rumba that probably made some viewers blush and made Mabuse “happy”, while Llambi noted that it also had to be “right down there”. 21 points!

Llambi then saw double the slow waltz by Michelle (50) and Christian Polanc (43). He can always recognize two versions of the singer – one that is strong and emotional and another that “dives”. “Be strong,” he urged her. Accordingly, he only got three points, while the other two jurors were more generous and a total of 14 points were awarded.

These are the two favorites of the season

Despite initial stumbling, she showed “such great moments”, said González to Sarah Mangione (31), who had performed another cha-cha-cha with Vadim Garbuzov (34). However, René Casselly (25) and Kathrin Menzinger (33) were able to clearly surpass the 20 points they earned. Even Llambi, who is often so critical, raved almost as much as the audience, who let the dancing couple celebrate as if they had already won the entire show. Consequently, there were fantastic 29 points.

With a slow waltz, Mathias Mester (35) together with Renata Lusin (34) showed “an explosion of feelings”, as González explained. Mabuse was also moved: 21 points. On the other hand, Bastian Bielendorfer (37) and Ekaterina Leonova (34) caused a laugh. “So wow,” Mabuse initially found no words. She felt reminded of Guildo Horn (59), with whom she danced in the second season. The comedian was sure: “Yes, it was shit but funny, right?” Accordingly, there were only 7 points on the scoring boards for the Cha-Cha-Cha.

The preparation for the show this week was particularly difficult for the moderator Janin Ullmann (40). In her contemporary with Zsolt Sándor Cseke (34) she processed her marriage. For González, it was not just the most emotional contemporary he had seen on the show in his many years. Llambi also named Ullmann a co-favourite, alongside Casselly. Between the two it will be “another exciting number this season”, he predicted. By the way, she was able to surpass the performance of her colleague again and get the first 30 points of the season.

As already mentioned, none of the celebrity candidates had to worry at the end of the show this time. And with the performances of Ullmann and Casselly, many viewers should have guessed correctly that one or one of the two would get the bonus point for the next episode. The circus artist was able to win over the larger part of the audience.
