“Let’s Dance” returned on Friday with the legendary Discofox marathon. In the end it wasn’t enough for Mike Singer.

“Let’s Dance” (also on RTL+) returned on Friday evening after a longer Easter break. While the jurors Motsi Mabuse (40), Joachim Llambi (57) and Jorge González (54) enjoyed the hits and the Mallorca mood, the Discofox marathon seemed to have played less into the hands of one of the celebrity men.

Two pairs of tremors inspire the jury

They trembled in the last live show: This week Mike Singer (22) and Christina Luft (32) returned with a “dramatic” tango. “You did it very well,” enthused the otherwise very strict Llambi. The first jury verdict of the evening: a solid 22 points. Amira Pocher (29) and Massimo Sinató (41) also had to tremble in the last show. Was your Cha Cha Cha able to convince the jury this time? “Amira was on fire. […] It’s really fun,” praised Mabuse. In the end, the two scored 23 points.

There were only 20 points for the slowfox of Mathias Mester (35) and Renata Lusin (34). From Llambi’s point of view, the athlete still has to work on his posture. But as the saying goes? Practice makes the “mester”. For Sarah Mangione (31) and Vadim Garbuzov (34) the next step was: fast, faster, Quickstep. The audience stood up just as quickly after their performance. “Good pace, energy was there, maybe a little too much energy,” was González’s verdict – and 22 points from all three jurors.

A traffic cop dances the Paso Doble

A serious expression and striking gestures are the hallmarks of the Paso Doble. However, the appearance of Bastian “traffic policeman” Bielendorfer (37) made the audience and the jury laugh. “It’s enough for the Golden Raspberry,” smiled González. The end of the song: 16 points for the comedian and his dance partner Ekaterina Leonova (34). In the last show, René Casselly (25) and Kathrin Menzinger (33) even stopped Joachim Llambi. But did the jury get up from their chairs after their salsa? “That was a great performance, I liked it,” praised the strict juror. There were 26 salsa points at the end.

After the best Charleston “ever, ever, ever”, Janin Ullmann (40) followed an impressive quick step this week. “The best dance of the evening,” Mabuse said directly. The jury’s praise was also reflected in the full score of 30.

Mathias Mester masters the Discofox party

Finally, it was “party alarm” on “Let’s Dance”: The individual dances were followed by the Discofox marathon, which Mathias Mester and Renata Lusin were able to win in the end. For the two, this meant ten extra points on top of the 20 points they had won previously.

In the end, Mike Singer and Bastian Bielendorfer had to tremble in the big decision. The comedian got away again despite the lowest score. It wasn’t enough for Mike Singer and Christina Luft.

This is the ninth show (on April 29) for six couples, in which everyone has to dance their “Magic Moment”.
